VL BookClub: November Selection

Last week, we posted about weekend reads and the cozy things we like to wear while snuggling down with a good book. 

Inspired by that post, and our mutual love of reading, some of us at Vinnie decided that it would be a brilliant idea to start our own VL BookClub — and we want you to join! 

Each month we'll select a book (with your help!) for all of us to read on our own time. Near the end of the month, we'll have a group discussion forum where we can all contribute thoughts and questions. Then we'll decide which book to dive into next!

Plus, we'll be giving each discussion participant a $5 VL gift card, as well as sending one winner the next book selection for free. 

We thought we'd kick off our new club this November, and some of us at Vinnie went ahead and selected our first book. It's fun, hilarious and also happens to be an easy read. Or in the words of its author, "This book will take you two days to read. Did you even see the cover? It’s mostly pink. If you’re reading this book every night for months, something is not right.”

Perhaps you've already tackled the witty words of Mindy Kaling in "Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (And Other Concerns)", but if you haven't, we think it'll make you LOL forreals.

Just reading some of her excerpts gets us excited: “I’m only marginally qualified to be giving advice at all. My body mass index is certainly not ideal, I frequently use my debit card to buy things that cost less than three dollars because I never have cash on me, and my bedroom is so untidy it looks like vandals ransacked the Anthropologie Sale section. I’m kind of a mess.”
