7 Days, 7 Outfits: Balancing Basics and Boho

We've got another week's worth of outfits ready for you — but this time instead of making it all about the numbers, we're talking about building a balanced wardrobe.

Budget is important. We all have restrictions set for how much we can spend on clothing, but sometimes it's easy to get caught up in the cost and not think about what we're actually investing in.

So for the next 7 days, we created 7 looks that combine simple and solid basics with those trendy pieces we love so much.

Cheers to a balanced closet!

Monday

Nothing kicks a case of the Mondays quite like a blanket scarf. Plus, the Zara scarf adds a little spice to classic tunics like the burgundy Cole Mockneck above. Pair it with your coziest leggings and a statement necklace

Tuesday

This look is classic enough for the office, but trendy enough for a lunch with the ladies. Our new Riley Distressed Denimn are so fun — plus they have a great stretch to them. Pair them with a classic white shirt, like the Ingram Top from Project Social T.

A brilliantly patterned bag adds a splash of color, and allows for you to carry your laptop around in style. Like our Barclay Tote pictured above!

Wednesday

Hump day calls for some fall fun — so we brought back our Cole Mock neck in burgundy and paired it over leggings. Add this gorgeous Jet Setter hoodie for a cozy style! The jewel tones in this look are perfect for autumn!

Thursday

Bring some sass to your Thursday by rocking our beloved Twiggy tunic dress (now in Navy, Charcoal and Wine!) with some leggings and a statement necklace for a look that never goes out of style.

You could even add the Barclay Tote for contrast!

Friday

TGIF — whether it's a rule in your office or not, we're firm believers in casual Friday. So toss on that comfy Ingram Top over some Distressed Denim and add on the Jet Setter Hoodie for a pop of fun. I love this look because it's truly a perfect balance of classic and trendy.

Saturday

In my world, weekends are for brunch and flea markets. But whether you spend your Saturday perusing the aisles of a thrift store or hanging out at the movies, comfort is key.

We brought back our Navy Twiggy Tunic Dress and tossed this incredible Navajo sweater poncho on top. Pair with jeans or leggings and some funky jewelry for the ideal weekend look.

Sunday

Take your Sunday to the next level by styling the Jet Setter Hoodie with an old summer favorite, our charcoal Maxi. (Or you can rock any fun maxi from your closet!) Toss on a floppy felt hat and jewelry for the perfect balance of basics and boho.

We love balancing timeless pieces and trendy items, because it means as the seasons change a portion of our wardrobe remains. Basics never go out of style! So try accumulating classics clothes that'll last and switch out your funky items over time.

Until next time, wear happy!

xoxo
